I start this review by saying DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THEIR SERVICE. Guy at cashier wasn't really sure about the answers to our questions , which was annoying but again, I did not expect much from their service. Moving on to the food, we ordered their specialty liempo. Got the half kilo order with rice. I LOVE THE LIEMPO! It's well-seasoned all over. Their vinegar was also really good! It was a unique mixture that went perfectly well with the liempo. For P120, I was full and satisfied. Would definitely come back
Better than lechon? Best liempo? ???? Cebu Liempo Meal ???? Lechon Manok Meal ???? Liempo Manok Combo *includes a glass of Iced Tea (Moringa) I could name other Lechon and Liempo options far better than what they offer. It's not too bad though but their claims is a big NO. What we had does not really exceeded my expectations. Will not consider it to "better" definitely not the "best" Price - affordable Serving Size - just right (for an average person) During our visit, service was quite terrible given the place is quite small and would be easier to manage. Hope they'll improve on this.
My mom got interested with Liloan's cos of its sign outside that says "Better than lechon". We ordered their Group Meal B which includes two slabs of liempo, 1 plate of pancit canton, 4 cups of rice and a pitcher of iced tea or lemonade (sosh lemonade!!). We also added chopsuey on the side. The liempo slabs were good. The meat was a bit salty but was tender and had few slices of fat (taba). The pancit canton was good! It's a bit saucy and it wasn't salty or sweet. The sahog of both the pancit canton and chopsuey were fishball and squid. It's actually good that they use seafood to help balance off the other viands. For the drinks, we were asked to choose between moringa iced tea and cucumber lemonade. Both drinks sounded weird so we just went with the iced tea. When it arrived on our table, it was green-ish in color and the taste wasn't that sweet. The taste was weirdly okay.
I'm trying cebu lechon liempo for lunch. It is near the vicinity of Philippine Orthopedic Center. I remembered I have tried to taste their spicy liempo before. I tried their set meals which is Cebu Lechon liempo which cost 135 pesos eventhough they recommend me the Chicken lechon. Based on their claim they are listed on the 2013 best liempo in Manila. The cebu lechon liempo is good although I think I would like the spicy liempo. The liempo has a crispy skin bit tender meat. I think they should have a spicy vinegar if the cebu lechon liempo is a regular one. Over all I can say the price is worth the try especially if you want to have a taste of lechon cebu liempo in a inexpensive price.
