351 Bistro Grill

We have been here several times in the past few months. I usually have the Steak Tartare which is fantastic.The eggplant parmesan is wonderful,the steaks are all good. Good salad as well. The staff are a mixed bag,some excellent others not so much. It is near Dr Defillo on Betancourt ,SANTO DOMINGO ,DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

I had a terrible experience here, it was my first and last time in this expensive and very bad quality food place, also the service is really bad too. First we asked for shrimp, and ten minutes later the server came to tell us Shrimps are rotten .. we thought like what? so we decided to ask for tacos..a very simple preparation, we also asked for sirloin and salmon; 30 minutes later the dishes came; the sirloin was 1/5 ..very greasy.. so..we doubted that was a sirloin, then the salmon came: a terrible odor invaded all around us, the odor was so terrible that even the table just next to us looked at us wondering what was that odor that came from our table my plate: the salmon was Rotten!!!! Worst of all, I told the server, and the Chef told him no the salmon is not rotten..it just smells like that I mean, what? the chef thought I was ignorant maybe but I can clearly and easily detect (a anyone I believe) when seafood and fish is rotten, the smell betrayed his own faux chef skills.. terrible experience..never again.. and worst of all..really expensive..and a terrible atmosphere.
