Osteria Del Monte - Sapphire

Beautiful rustic atmosphere. Food quality is consistent from visit to visit. Waiting staff is attentive without being intrusive. All common standards on the menu, with a variety of nightly specialties. Definitely recommend reservations, and Carpool when you meet friends. Parking can be a challenge.

First time here as a guest of two new friends I just came by reservation time 5:45 on Friday. The ladies said when they arrived and asked for a cocktail in the bar, they said that it would be a busy night and that it had to be aware of time. Missed opportunity to meet fellow players for Chit Chat and fall $30 on 2 drinks in my view. Server, an adorable young lady, appeared no less than 4 times to ask ordered wine during our introductory conversation at the table. Disruptive and rush more than helpful for me. Gorgonzola salad $14 was limp as if not freshened, but possibly pulled out of a fridge. Fungi Gorgonzola veal scaloppini w a garnish size portion of a single broccoli floret and 3 snowbsen accompanies the less than rich gorge flavored sauce. $29. Never asked how our dinner of ground manager when you're there. Had to ask the server to delete empty wine glasses from the table after Desserts arrived. Didn't get the bill generously as a friend, but I guess $200. What a missed opportunity for owners with a good location and many experienced diners in the area. A complete book of reservations and customers does not ask their experience in eating or leaving. You may not get the same picture. Italian in Highlands 2x the cost next time but = it worth it!

OSTERIA DEL MONTE RISTORANTE ITALIANO Is that a hidden gem or have I missed the chatter?! We had dinner tonight and it was excellent! Your menu looks delicious with a lot of choice, but we decided to try the peculiarities of the evening that included (for our astonishment) Dover Sole! It was delicious; everything was! The Manger mentioned that he would try to offer the Dover every Monday.

This restaurant is excellent. Nisa our server was attentive, polite and gave recommendations. We had the Bronzino special that was perfectly prepared. Nisa was always there if we wanted something. The food and service is the first price and a jewel in sapphire. We traveled the 17 miles from Brevard nd the trip was absolutely worth the ride. We're gonna be back!
