Contribuisci feedbackThe Beach House is a beautiful spot, but unfortunately, our family had an awful experience. Apparently, there is parking across the front lawn of the property, which is not clearly marked. Naturally, we parked parallel to the road in front of the Beach House, rather than perpendicular to the road. The owner approached our vehicle extremely upset asking us to move our vehicle so others' could park, rather than clearly explaining to us where we could actually park (on the lawn) in case we returned in the future as repeat customers. Of course this is after our family had already purchased ice cream. I am sorry to leave this type of review, but we felt it very disrespectful and non-inclusive: Why would he not simply suggest where we could park? How would your family feel if you were asked to leave from the same property you just purchased ice cream from? It was clearly disrespectful. Our family eats a lot of ice cream and will be taking our business further up the road to Sauble Meat Shop, where ice cream is served without attitude and ignorance. Response to owner's feedback response posted below: Thank you for your response, but we are surprised at how you still fail to acknowledge the complaint. Unfortunately, we did not feel the safety you highlight in your response, especially after you approached our vehicle angrily. It was not the enjoyable experience you proclaim below, and certainly not part of any customer experience our family has had.. We appreciate you brining another flavour out for us, but that was because it was on your menu! It's not our fault (the customer) you didn't have it in stock. My recommendation would be not to promote anything you can't serve. Re: parking. We are shocked you still are not acknowledging you do not have clearly marked parking in front of your Cafe. If it is a commercially zoned spot, you must have parking clearly indicated. The most surprising is that you indicate we ate our ice cream for 20 minutes. I can assure you, it would have melted in the summer sun in less than 10 minutes and absolutely with confidence can say we were there no more than 5 minutes, not the 20 minutes you indicate. Just be honest and act with integrity. Your apology is not accepted. Again, we will be taking our business further up the road to the Sauble Meats'N More where you get twice the ice cream for the same price and it is served without ignorance and arrogance.
Amazing icecream! We had cone and Sunday and both where really good!! Highly recommend to stop for a scoop!
Popped in for a soft-serve ice cream and cappuccino: both were divine! And the owners were such a delight to chat with...good people and super friendly, too. We loved the retro feel inside and the cozy porch with gorgeous water views. We'll be back to rent one of their cute retro cottages, which are just far enough away from the noise and bustle of the main strip, so you can really relax and enjoy the beach.
Wow...what an amazing place. The building is made to look like a Southern home beauty. All In White it has the relaxed front deck with chairs and tables perfectly placed to watch the sunset at the end of the night. Kawartha ice cream in a sugar cone is my favorite
Great people, fantastic treats and divine, authentic cappuccino, all in a retro beach chic atmosphere, with an amazing terrace. Definitely recommend!
