We stopped in on the way home from Montreal to Philadelphia for lunch. Couldn’t have a made a better choice. All the food was fresh and delicious! Great service from Alicia tending the bar. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was good enough and bartenders/servers were nice and friendly. However, there were a few issues that came up with the ordering process. We ordered two cups of the soup of that day and were initially brought the Dutch onion soup, which the server quickly switched out for the correct soups, but then we were charged for two bowls of soup (not sure if that’s actually what we got). I also asked for the mayo on the sandwich on the side, and while we did get mayo on the side, we also got mayo on the sandwich itself which defeated the purpose of getting it on the side. I found the meal to be a bit overpriced for what we got, maybe some of that had to do with being charged for 2 bowls instead of cups of soup (didn’t bother saying anything because not worth complaining). Overall, not the worst but I also wouldn’t rush back to the Dutch based on the experience I had. The tomato and white bean soup was really tasty.
This is a much better bar than it is a restaurant. A lot of specialty beers. The food is decent, not exceptional. We sat down at 7:30, we'd ordered by 7: 45. We received our main course around 8:45. The wait staff is friendly, I have a feeling it wasn't their fault. Kitchen just got slammed but still, we didn't even get an apology. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
