Papa John's Pizza - Sauk Rapids

Worst experience ever at the Sauk Rapids, MN location. Manager was taken into custody when I was there. As a customer, I was asked to answer their calls since it was all new employees working and employees were not trained on how to answer the telephone. I was then asked if I knew how to make my pizzas I ordered. I asked to cancel my order. No one knew how to do this either. It was my birthday. And one I will not forget. No one at this location bothered to contact me or follow up.

I order here frequently, and it's always good! Tonight I ordered 5 pizzas for a bday and they were hot and delicious! Everyone loved them! The staff was very professional too!

I've ordered from this place multiple times before I order the same thing on multiple occasions but some somehow my order got messed up and it got put on me like it was my fault and she insisted that I was trying to scam them or I was just trying to make up excuses to get another free pizza the manager there is a joke who are the female manager I've known people who worked there in the past and I've been traded nothing with nothing but respect I called corporate because she acted like I was trying to scan them and I was just trying to get over on them which is I didn't I brought the pizza back in there and still got treated like I was in the wrong still none of my family eats mushrooms and somehow there's double mushrooms on the pizza we ordered bacon and pepperoni....

This evening, we decided to use our free pizza in hopes of changing our impression of this restaurant. I called at 4:30 PM to request delivery, considering we live just a few blocks away (but it’s freezing outside). I was first informed that it would take an hour for delivery, and then I was put on hold for seven minutes. When a different person finally picked up, he told me it would take two hours for the delivery. No thank you! Papa John’s, you really need to reevaluate your management at this store. I’m very disappointed because I truly love your pizza and garlic dipping sauce.

A true showcase of incompetence. I initially tried to give them a chance when my delivery was an hour and a half late. Then another delivery issue occurred. I opted for carryout this time, and despite arriving on time, I waited over 20 minutes (a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes from order to receiving my pizza). The staff member behind the counter seemed more focused on labeling boxes than making eye contact or communicating with me. Meanwhile, the poor guy in the back making pizzas was constantly interrupted, as he was the only one who appeared to know how to operate the equipment. The place is poorly managed, and I have my doubts about its longevity.
