Steaks as always in France need to be ordered well done to get a medium UK equivalent .Great place for your biking stop off and to admire the Lavender fields in the valley below .
We were in Sault for 9 days' cycling. This restaurant/bar was perfect as a meeting place after a day's ride or for a bowl of spaghetti at lunch. Brilliant and efficient staff with great personalities. Tres sympa!
We've been here on a rainy day ; even so ,it was a good idea. Very nice small medieval village . Nice helpful staff at Promenade de Justin. And you can not beat the view. Good tasty food for the money !
I ordered a coffee and looked at the menu. The menu is okay, not really a place for a quick bite, more like simple pastas and salads. The coffee arrived and was pretty dire to say the least. Very bitter and the milk was scolded so smelt like rice pudding. The worst bit of the experience was the general manner of the staff. I can take a bit of banter from people about being from a different country but this was too much and borderline xenophobic. Really not on. It was not just to me, but to other customers in the place who were not French. I would say to the owners be careful what you think you're getting away with saying, some people might just happen to speak more than one language!!! If you dislike foreign people, why work in hospitality? You think you're being very funny, but you're not.€4 for a coffee is also a total rip off. the view is good, but you can also see the view if you walk out of the place 10 meters and sit on the ample benches in the village square.
