I ordered the fresh catch for dinner and the fish and Sukkolade was so delicious. My friend had the Shrimp Risotto and it was so tasteful. The prices were somewhat higher, but it is a great place for date night and the food is worth it.
Great experience!! We were skeptical when the restaurant seemed empty on arrival, but we realized it was Sunday at 8:00. We noticed that many restaurants are closed on Sunday in the city. This restaurant was just a few minutes' walk from Hotel Thompson. Quiet, empty restaurant and we were welcomed by the 3 employees who were still working. Very friendly and willing to accept us. We started with cattle carpaccio and Kaprese. We love Burrata and that's what the Kaprese was served with verses of the expected fresh mozzarella. The Burrata was beautiful and you could say was either made in the house or locally source as it had the imperfect look with the node and all! We added truffle oil and that was a perfect addition. The Carpaccio had great aromas if you had a bite with onion, capers and fried duck egg! The menu was smaller in the person than what we saw online and first hit a little, but then we found things to enjoy. The shrimps and crabs Risotto was pleasantly light with this amazing garlic sauce and plenty of shrimps and crabs. Also the 24 ounces Ribeye... that was HUGE! My husband loves a good steak and can usually finish the big cuts, but also he could not finish. Many fats, but still tons of meat. Cooked to a perfect medium and taste was on point. The Brussels spears for one side were to die! A bit of mustard/peat type of bite with a rich fat taste from the bacon. I would love the recipe for cooking at home.
This restaurant is a hidden diamond. The atmosphere and design are very romantic. We love the feeling and eating this restaurant gives. We had the rice ball, but mine was without marinate sauce. In any case, booking will go back.
The first visit was wonderful! We went through Savannah and I had read about this restaurant in Fodor's guide. It didn't get us wrong. Sat outside on a cool evening with large heating and a huge fireplace projected onto the outside wall. Ah the power of the proposal. The food and the drinks were fabulous. We really enjoyed our Madison server. She was friendly, interesting and mature beyond her young age. This whole experience from beginning to end was so warming, hearty and comforting in these Covid times. We loved it! Thanks for making this culinary experience so special.
