Fishtales - SAWTELL

I live nearby and every time I go to this restaurant, the service is incredibly slow. I keep hoping that they will improve, but unfortunately, it's always the same slow experience.

The dining experience was enjoyable, and we were very pleased with the service. The staff were attentive and cheerful. The pub food was delicious, especially the children's dishes which came with ice cream. The fish was particularly tasty.

Terribly disappointed. seafood mezze plate with scallops, oyster in tomato juice masquerading as oyster protectors. toast soldiers with tiny smokers of the super market dives and embellished with a rocket salat consisting of rocket, pieces of chorizo, cameo appearances of burnt meat, smoked mosquitoes (combating form of mosquitoes and pumpkin! ah! I think I should have been better with the fish on the road. we are not coming back.

My family and I had dinner here recently and we will not come back. three people at our table got their meals in minutes, while the rest of us waited for the cajun hähnchenburger, was possibly the worst burger I ever had. the Brioche beans were punctual, the Cajun chicken was dry, the koleslaw had no dress at all and the aioli and the smoked mais was almost not existent. two people on our table had this meal and they were both the same standard....Really really disappointing.

Lunch. Much better than your average pub food. We had two fish dishes, pearl perch and prawn cutlets. The perch was great and the prawns were locally caught, then crumbed on the premises, a cut above those served inmost pubs, which are usually purchased in catering packs from Vietnam. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff and very good food. Recommended!
