Kashiwa Japanese Restaurant

We had the best tempura that was light and crispy. The hot dishes were served hot and the wagyu and chicken salads were excellent, particularly the tender huh. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

My kingfish, cooked medium, was cold and undercooked in the middle and tough. The manager seemed unresponsive when I paid with my Eftpos card, while the waitress looked surprised as she held my untouched plate in front of him. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, as every table in the restaurant waited for forgotten drinks and cold food. The restaurant was not even busy, with less than half of the tables filled. If you're looking for pricey, deep-fried food in a run-down setting, this may be the place for you. However, if you're craving teppanyaki, I suggest trying a different restaurant.

With all locks for coronavirus it was nice when the restrictions were lifted to a din out meal and kashiwa was our choice. excellent menu for every taste. good selection of high quality beer and weeping and especially very friendly staff
