It didn’t set expectations high, but I knew user reviews suggested this was a better lunch option than it looked. A limited selection of traditional British sandwiches, e.g. egg and watercress, coronation chicken, was available as well as some cakes and bacon buns. My sons had bacon butties, which they seemed to enjoy. We had coronation chicken and ploughman’s sandwiches, which were fresh and significantly better than average (well, better than Greggs and M&S). I also had a perfectly decent cappuccino and the little boys had fruit juice. We visited while on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway about to begin the walk from Goathland to Grosmont. I’d definitely suggest this as a fresh alternative to a packed lunch.
We had a very pleasant experience at The Warehouse Tea Room once again. This time, we went for lunch and were impressed by the excellent service and fresh food. We enjoyed a great lunch together and were warmly welcomed by the staff. The coffee was outstanding and I indulged in a brandy while Peter had port. Following our delicious meal, I had scampi and Peter had gammon. We highly recommend this place to all visitors as it is a must-visit spot.
We stopped by this restaurant while we were at the train station. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.
I enjoyed my visit to this charming tea room. It was clean, the food was fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return without any hesitation.
