We were eating at the feldberghof for the third time today and were disappointed again. the operation was rather unmotivated and the carbonic acid in the drinks was virtually not present. We had to wait long, not what the quality of the food also gave. it reminds of eating canteens rather than a restaurant. the carving was fried only on one side crispy and tough, the hackbread was taste-neutral, the bratkartoffeln did not crispy and the pommes too short in the frituse and unworn. a drink on the terrace that offers a great view can be enjoyed.

Especially in summer it can be so high up 6-10 degrees cooler. in summer a paradies for biker. the restaurant has typical German kitchen and the service is friendly and fast. English is also on the menu. prices are very acceptable. in winter it will snow in the usual earlier than elsewhere, but the roads are quite free, so the trip is also worth it. just hope for a clear day and they can see kilometers. also popular with hikers. parking can be a problem at rush times, but normally they find a place with short waiting time. Don't forget her camera.

We wanted to drink a beer on the high feldberg, but unfortunately the only possibility seemed to be the terrace of the restaurant. so we went in, obviously found the terrace full of people. the friendly service showed that soon a place would be free. we enjoyed a nice beer and a few chips. that was not really perfect because frankfurt was covered by some trees.
