Summit View - Schuylkill Haven

I was there about 35 years ago with my parents and dancing and oncling. I thought it was a very nice place to eat. my wife and I just celebrated our 25-year anniversary. Saturday 26th november the place was rebuilt, but I thought the eating and service was great. keep them the good consistent work.

Absolutely amazing service would definitely go back! Food was so great?! Place also looked spectacular! I felt at home there!

Absolute favourite place! so wonderful. we decided to marry there! the personal is beyond the reception and the owner is such a pleasure to work with! They made our high-time experience a fairy tale that we have introduced ourselves! eating is from this world! we have tried almost everything and we are never unhappy. there is a shame, there are only 5 stars bc we would give them more!

We had a great experience visiting the opposite. our waitress, angel, was very attentive and personal. many employees asked if we needed something and we felt very well. eating was fantastic from appetizers to dessert. the drinks were delicious and the intention was amazing. great atmosphere and food proportions were good for the price. we will definitely come back when we are in the opposite, we will be worth the ride!

We don’t like to complain, but after such a long wait and considering we were paying an undisclosed market price for the prime rib, they thought it was worth mentioning to another staff member who asked how things were going. They simply stated that the prime rib was overcooked and didn’t request new ones at that point. The response they received was quite strange: the woman explained that at 8 PM, you can’t expect a medium rare prime rib because they are cooked at 4 PM. So, by that time, it’s simply not possible. Are we to understand that one can only order a medium rare prime rib between 4:30 and 5:30 PM? I’ve never encountered this before. We dine out frequently at various times of the day, usually after 7 PM, and we have never struggled to get a properly cooked prime rib. It was just a perplexing explanation in my opinion. If that’s the policy, we should have been informed when we ordered at 6:45 PM that the prime rib might not meet our doneness request. They did offer us two complimentary desserts to make up for the issue, so it wasn't a total loss. Overall, the other food was decent, and the atmosphere was nice.
