Basilico's Pizzeria - Scranton

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant today! I visited with my two young children, and when it was our turn to order, the gentleman informed me that they had a gluten-free pizza option made with charcoal flour. As someone with celiac disease, this was such a relief! I have to say, it was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had! I truly appreciated their dedication to accommodating dietary restrictions, and if you're gluten-free, you know how much that means! The food came out quickly, and my kids loved the pizza and French fries!

We ordered the Gramma Pizza and I really enjoyed the crust! It had a delicious tomato sauce, cheese, and more, but the standout was definitely the crust. The Tuscany Salad was also excellent, with more toppings than lettuce! The staff provided great service, and I was happy to visit while in Scranton.

The pizza was absolutely fantastic! The toppings were generous and incredibly tasty. The price was reasonable as well. I’d give it 5 stars across the board!

The cheeseries were all right, the steak and cheese sandwich was decent.

Nice clean,well maintained rooms and a pretty good breakfast served until 9:30 instead of nine. But all the machines for food and drink at night were empty,but after some hemming and hawing bottled water handed out to me and a couple of fellow guests. Priced right and close to youngstown so I recommend this place. Choice Hotels is a great operation.
