Seriously oriental. Specialty food. I just like its grilled meat with all its spices and herbs.
As an Iranian living in Calgary with limited to non existent Iranian cuisine options, I've tried Atlas a few times and was disappointed each time. Service is not the best and the quality of the food is low no real taste to it and not the most fresh. Comparing it to places say in like Vancouver, it's a big letdown. Still waiting on a decent Iranian restaurant in this city
Mediocre dining experience. Once sitted at the table we got served with water but no ice and the problem with that is you see bubbles in your glass and tastes stale. Unlike persian restaurant traditions to serve bread&butter/red turnips/onions, we received a flat house bread that was okay but it had butter poorly spread on it, instead of butter on the side. Ordered the Koobideh with half tice and half salad, but was served with a plate of rice and kabob, and a the salad came in a very noticeably small bowl on the side, hardly any dressing and covered with onions. Again unlike the traditional Persian plates accompanied with one or two butters, there was no butter. The food's taste was okay but definitely overpriced for the quality and service. Overall the dining experience this establishment was meh!
Great food and service. Nice atmosphere. Good price
