Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied with the food. We had spaghetti carbonara delivered. I don't know about your cooks, but I'm European and I've been to Italy several times. First, no taste, second, no panchetta, a few pieces, maybe some leftovers. Spaghetti dry.Thirdly, where was the Parmesan cheese? Because there was really little of it.And aren't you embarrassed to take $58 for that? Shame. And every Italian would throw up and cry. I never want to say food from you again. First learn to cook Italian food and then call yourself an Italian restaurant.

On a positive note, the food was very good and we really enjoyed the pasta especially. The service was the worst I have experienced in a long time. We were completely rushed, with multiple servers coming and taking plates off our table before we were even done the dish. The server also tried to talk us out of ordering certain things we wanted to try.. I literally had to insist on ordering a couple things. After they were essentially hovering over us and taking our plates before we had finished eating, all servers disappeared for about 40 minutes when we were ready for the bill. Honestly, the service experience was so strange I would not return, solely on that basis.

First time at Sorella and I definitely will come back. The calamari was maybe some of the best I have had in the city. Atmosphere and decor are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The pasta speaks for itself!!!
