The food here is AMAZING! We were sat in the bar area by Brad who was very friendly and had chips with salsa and queso for a starter. We had the tuna tlayuda which was wonderful and the traditional taco salad and you should definitely have the shrimp on it. We also had Mexican street corn as a side and it was exactly what we wanted and expected. Huge thanks to Sebastian and Matt for making this a great experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Really 2 1/2 stars. It’s not bad, but certainly not good. Almost empty while every other place in Rosemary had an hour wait. Should have been our first clue. The dreaded “under new management “. They took a well known traditional Mexican place and made it into a some weird mix of millennial flavors that seem to have overwhelmed the modern restaurant industry. We used to hit this place every visit. Can’t see us going back again. The food wasn’t bad, we ate it all. It just wasn’t really good either. We started with Queso and $10 guacamole. Both decent. We split the fajitas. Now I’ve eaten fajitas all over, and these were different than any of them. Not sizzling nor really hot. They seemed to have some type of sauce. The final thing for us was the desert flan. Should be simple and easy. Nope. Their flan is way overdone. They are just trying hard to be something most of the folks around here won’t like. Thus their rapidly reducing stars.
Another very good menu item. that can't be for them if they have a 10 year old children picky eater. the chapulines tostadas are definitiw for those with.
