Excellent fish ,,chips average, the childrens menu very good but let down by not including pensioners,, very stern about this) called in with my Father who is 89 and cant eat an adult portion so most was wasted , pity spent £40 for three at lunch. Staff extremely rude!!! Did not understand about gluten intolerance!! Would not trust gluten free chips as cross contamination happened in front of my eyes. When asked if they could not use the same scoop for gluten and non gluten the staff member looked blankly at me and did not understand my concern. Crazy!!! I had lunch at this restaurant and my experience was mixed. The food was decent, scoring a 3 out of 5—nothing particularly memorable, but it wasn't bad either. The service, however, was a highlight, deserving a 4. The staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was lacking, earning just a 2. It felt a bit dull and uninviting. Overall, while the service made the experience better, the food and ambiance left something to be desired.
