Bistro St. Germain - Seal Beach

We dined here for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it! My sister, brother-in-law, and I tried a variety of menu items, and everything was wonderful. We sat outside and were really impressed by Aidan, our host, who was both charming and efficient, seemingly assisting our fantastic and fun server. The food was amazing—I had the best tomato bisque of my life, and I'm quite experienced! The staff was entertaining, fun, and very efficient. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food would have been much more enjoyable if there hadn't been so much salt. Both my sea bass and my husband's lasagna were over-seasoned. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and Wine Wednesday featured a great selection of affordable wines. The lemon crepe was absolutely delicious. The music was good, but we found ourselves having to raise our voices to hear each other. Dancing was a lot of fun, though!

On the lawn, they offer live entertainment. My granddaughter performs, and the staff is friendly. It's a great spot to relax or meet interesting people. Hope to see you there! Bye!

I moved to S.B. about a year ago and happened upon this restaurant while walking down Main. Everything we have tried is consistently amazing. French onion soup, crazy-delicious Brussel sprout appetizers (a must-try), tapanade w/baguette, lamb pops, lasagna, Ceasars w/salmon to name just a few. Servers are friendly and very knowledgeable.
