Contribuisci feedbackThis is not the original owner of Catfish Corner. They purchased the name but not the recipes. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They are impostors and shouldn’t be allowed to use the restaurant's name because their customer service and food quality are terrible. Do yourself a favor and go to the original Catfish Corner on Jackson Street with the real owner. They will prepare the food to perfection. I’m grateful to have come across this information and encourage you to visit the original location on 23rd Jackson. Don't eat here! It’s not the same owner or establishment.
This restaurant is now under new management, and unfortunately, the food no longer has the same flavor. If you're in search of genuine catfish, I recommend visiting the location on Jackson instead!
Not a viable business. they don't have most of what's on the menu, replace what they have, and blame it on the shippers. I would probably have ordered something else if I had been "the situation that the owner obviously struggles. but instead he threw a bucking random food into some boxes, (probably) lying to the delivery driver, did not answer the phone when I called the wrong order (VM box full, natch,) and when I went down there, log me into my face and offered me more of the food I didn't want to put first. he gave me a free Mac salad and promised a refund, but I don't expect anything. it would have been good if he had been honest with the jump, but that's just bad. do not order from here unless they stand in the building and can see what they get.
I regret trying this place. My partner and I were disappointed. The lobster mac and cheese was priced at $15, but I wouldn’t pay even $3 for it. It was overcooked and lacked any seasoning—there wasn’t even a hint of salt. It seems they refer to it as "third-party," which I now realize means it's just boxed Velveeta shells with cheap, minced lobster thrown in. It felt more like something you’d expect from a hospital cafeteria. They even forgot my baby’s hush puppies while we were waiting for my partner's cold dish to arrive. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.
I found a cooked spider in my okra, fish was undercooked, mac and cheese was overcooked and cold. I wouldn't even let my dog eat what I couldn't.
