This review focuses solely on the bubble tea at the restaurant. I have not tried the shaved ice desserts and I am unsure if they are still available post-Covid. I am a huge fan of the iced butterfly latte, which is made with pea flower tea and is said to have many health benefits. This drink is unique and is only available at this boba shop in the Seattle area. I usually order it with 80% sugar as it has a sweet, milky creamy taste resembling a floral version of taro. The shop is not typically crowded, but it closes early at 7pm. The lounge area seems to be open, but the bathroom is closed off for unknown reasons. The quality of the drinks can vary, but when it's good, it is flavorful and the tapioca has the perfect chewy texture. In my opinion, this is the best bubble tea spot in the Columbia City/MLK area.
There are always only two people working whenever I visit this place. They sometimes don't have all the ingredients you want in your bubble tea. However, it's a good option if you're in the area looking for some boba tea.
Note to self:-Coffee slush with tapioca and pudding. Too sweet, try 50% suger next time. Pudding didnt taste that good.-mini tapioca, not good
This review is outdated but I am giving a review of this place from the last time that I was there which is during the summer. On the day of the heat wave of 107 degrees one summer day, I was driving home from work. Since it was so hot, I decided to stop by on my way home to get a boba tea with lots of ice. To my surprise, the business did not have the air conditioner on. It was sweltering inside. I quickly order my drink and went back to my air-condition car to way for my drink. When I got my drink, it was a little bit cold with about three pieces of ice. Need I say more?
