So friendly, warm, and welcoming! The sushi was all delicious and fresh, with high proportions of fish to rice. Especially loved the vibrant ume shiso roll and the generous tobiko Nigiri.
My order was just a pick-up, but for the 5 minutes I was there everything was great and everybody was extremely friendly. Then, my gyu-don bowl was perfect. It actually reminded me of my mother’s cooking when I was a kid, which is hard to do lol. Definitely coming back here
I’ve been to Daimonji many times, and it’s always been lovely. Today I picked up food to go for a birthday lunch with my sweetie, and chef Alex created such exquisite culinary wonder. The sushi was prepared so beautifully, the combination of taste, texture and freshness was an absolute delight! I will return again and again.
If you are looking for Bellevue bougie, DJ pumping annoying music and an over priced sushi spot with medium quality fish, this isn’t for you.Instead you get a family owned restaurant with quality service and AMAZING quality fish and sushi rolls. I don’t say this lightly! I promise…the nigiri melts in your mouth. The price is actually a deal for the quality of fish you get. Typically when I go in there I eat 25-35 pieces of an assortment of rolls, nigiri and sashimi. The miso soup is also great. Don’t let the looks let you determine you deciding to go or not. I wish they were open Sunday’s so I could give them more business. I would rank this spot higher than a 5 if possible.
