Pacific Room - Seattle

I love the jazz trio. What a treat. I'm looking forward to returning.

I was super disappointed by the service. When entering, we stood right in front of the register where the host was and she didn't even recognize us for at least 5 minutes.... would have left at this point, but not. We had to get our waitress literally after several attempts to get a drink. And the food was kind of a disappointment for the price. We will not return.

Interestingly, this review asked about noise. I don't like it and I don't want to find any loud restaurants. Pacific Room is not loud. Even with live entertainment, you can still reverse. I have eaten there several times and Pacific Room had consistently good food, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the music is great. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

So my only experience with the food was the smell that was great! I have a reservation by OpenTable for Valentines Day dinner 7pm. I answered that you're coming to OpenTable's email. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:55 and said we had no reservations and no tables. The hostess gives us a tied suffering and no explanation why our confirmed reservation was "not honored. They didn't try to make it right, so I felt like our business wasn't appreciated. Food smells good, people seemed to enjoy, so I could recommend this place to someone else, just not for something rare like date night or a special occasion like birthday or Valentine's Day. Maybe in one case.

Very difficult night. It was Valentine’s Day. My husband was served 30 minutes before me, they forgot my food. No one noticed that so I had to point out that I didn’t get any food. Apparently another server took it. So his food got cold while I waited. 45 minutes total to get my food while his got cold. The food was pretty awful, probably because it was cold at that point. They were very apologetic and offered to remove my dinner from the bill but then they never did. I didn’t eat it. I just paid and wanted to get out of there. Maybe it will get better with time for them. I don’t have any plans to return.
