Wasabi Sushi Izakaya - Seattle

This has become one of my favorite sushi spots to visit. I always try something different each time, and I've never been disappointed.

I brought a group of ten for a birthday celebration, and I have nothing but positive things to say. The food and service were outstanding. We would definitely choose to eat here again in a heartbeat.

Everything we had was great. Good flavor, rolls were tightly rolled and held together well despite being thinly sliced, potions well good, and sides like ginger and wasabi was generous. Most of all, I they very much took care of my gluten issues. I'm happy to recommend.

It was mediocre. The rolls were a bit too salty, but the nigiri was fresh and tasty.

Our server Jenny took exceptional care of us, we had someone with a gluten allergy in our party who was really looking forward to the isuzukuri, we found out the ponzu sauce contained gluten. Their chef attempted to modify the dish for a gluten allergy. That house made ponzu sauce was amazing, even drips on our other sushi brought out so many flavors. We have eaten a lot of sushi in the Seattle area and on the west side, this is absolutely one of our favorites, top two for Japanese food. And I would take my friends who live in Japan to this Izakaya any day.
