The menu offers three plate sizes, and we chose the medium size. My niece's husband went for the largest plate to enjoy all three carvery options. The smaller plates come with a choice of one or two meats. Although I struggled to finish my meal, I enjoyed every bite. The pub had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a delicious pint. I would highly recommend the Sunday carvery here if I find myself in Bridgwater again.
A perfect Carvery a choice of two meets I had Beef and Pork , the Beef was nicely Carved it was cooked to perfection, melted in the mouth the best I tasted for many a day! Full of flavour. The Pork was nicely cooked nice and moist. Plenty of vegetables all cooked as they should be. My partner chose Turkey that was nicely cooked and it wasn’t dry at all like sometimes Turkey can be. I would recommend to anyone!!! Last note I had a pint of Dom bar it was very joyful they keep a very professional Bar- Temperature and texture of pint was spot on. Well done admirals Landing
8 of us had lunch today. Good was amazing staff and served fabulous. Great friendly pub, my first visit it won't be the last. Many thanks x
This pub restaurant is amazing. I have been a loyal customer for years. The staff is always friendly and the food is high quality and reasonably priced. The carvery is especially delicious.
I have just returned from a young man 's funeral, the wake was held at this pub. 1 hour in, the landlady rang the bell announced she was closing! to the astonishment of those gathered. When asked, she said an adult had purchased a drink for someone who was underage. Wrong? yes. But to turf out into the street, ALL the relatives friends as well as the parents who had booked this establishment for their son 's wake, was shocking beyond words. The family had paid hundreds of pounds for sandwiches sausage rolls for their guests, who were then told to leave because 'someone ' apparently gave a drink to 'someone ' underage. There were no young children present, so we were aghast. There was absolutely no trouble or loudness going on, we had literally just left a very moving funeral service. We had travelled from Surrey others even further afield. Why on earth the publican didn 't just remove the perpetrator is beyond me, or even inform the family what had happened, for an opportunity for them to try and sort things out. I have never seen such a cruel act bestowed on a grieving family. Fortunately for us we were booked into a local Premier Inn but other guests started their journeys back home, after just one hour!! Shame on you Admirals Landing
