Served in some kind of back room, we were not allowed to put our own vegetables on, as is usual with a carvery. My partner was not happy with the fact that the chef picked up the roast potatoes in his (gloved) hands and put them on his plate. The choice of veg was very limited and the peas were mushy, which i have never known on a carvery. We couldnt even put our own gravy on. They obviously want to limit the amount one gets as our portions were meagre. The waitress was absolutely lovely and professional. The meal was not hot and the roast potatoes seemed old and were virtually inedible dry , hard and like leather. We had to request some new ones but suspected they were merely been heated up ones, not much better than the originals. This was the first time we had gone out for Sunday lunch for ages and travelled a long way to it but we certainly will never dine here again. As i said, the worst carvery i have ever had, by far.
Lovely food. Staff very friendly. Good atmosphere while we were there. Will definitely visit again.Very clean surroundings. Meal ready at a good time.
What a find. Lovely evening meal, great choice, quality and value. Staff from the minute we arrived were fab and very welcoming and friendly. This was a stop over with our motorhome, and had a great nights sleep.
Caravan site small and adequate. 16amp hookup. WC and wash basins available to use inside Manor Hotel, very clean facilities. Saturday evening ate in the Restaurant. Excellent meal. Friendly waiter and staff. Location perfect for area ie Castleford, Normanton, Selby, Pontefract. Will certainly return.
Food was well cooked and there was a good choice in three sized portions. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Despite a busy flow of clients there was no rush to leave table. Definitely one my list to visit at fairly regular intervals,
