The Washington House - Sellersville

First time back in fifteen years, will return soon! comfortable quiet ambiance, excellent service from Athena, and the food was very very good. Filet tender and tasty, burger one of best i’ve had, grilled cheese w short rib a great entree. Very pleased!

In the past, I had said that the Washington House served one of the 2 most memorable steaks I ever had. No more it was tasteless. Everything was over salted. I had heard that a slug would shrivel if doused with salt. That is what happened to my mouth. Do not order the painkiller cocktail. I do not know how you can screw up a fruit and rum drink, but they managed to do it. I drank it fast just to get rid of it. The only thing they prepared that was digestible was the coffee. The service was fine.

On March 14, 2024, my family went to WH after my mom had surgery at GVH. We were stressed out and hungry and close to the restaurant. We got there and had a lovely lunch in the bar. Our bartender (sorry I can't remember her name!)was delightful and we were glad we came. The lunch was delicious and the atmosphere was warm. Highly recommend!

We did not stay at hotel, only ate at restaurant. It was outstanding! From drinks, salads, entrees, desserts... Everything was amazing! Will definitely be back.
