(Marcel Proust) Arrived with friends to discover this new restaurant – not obsessing its a priori repoussante location – it's with surprise that we found the limited layouts of what was previously a gymnasium. Naturally – it was the purpose of our visit – we abandoned ourselves to the discovery menu announcing four dishes for the modest sum of 49€, pretentious prices given what awaited us. An onion confits as an entrance accompanied by its emulsion to coffee has opened our appetite which, remember, comes by eating. The server refused to change our covers, which we had to deposit, dirty, on plastic table sets – a fortiori cheap. Then came the fish, a lean trout that was served a quarter of a net, accompanied by iced carrots that, although not original, were appreciated. After more than half an hour waiting, the stomach always grumpy, the waiter makes us the happy surprise to change our cover... to bring us cheese! From cheese, and not from the least, because of a cheese-discovered plate, we had a thick – and coarse – slice of Basque blue. This one did not arrive raw, but sweet, caramelized, like a sweet, mistty cream – much too spicy to be enjoyed. An additional half hour of waiting allowed us to question the quidity of this discovery menu: discovering who? of what? How? From the smiling server and smelling Nikes at the head? from the absence of meat in this Basque discovery menu? in a remodelled gymnasium? It's only a few seconds before our departure that we were able to draw all the conclusions of these questions. Let's first come to dessert: an ice cream with its praline. One earthy side inherent in the cep could have been counterbalanced by the fraicher of the ice which unfortunately came melted. The meal is over, our stomach frustrated, the lost server: like him, we were looking for the time lost – because we were unable to discover the Basque universe. We end up getting up to make the payment of this pas so delicious research, welcomed by a man possibly drunk – and decayed – as well as a sweet odor of fiante from the gymnasium toilet overlooking the dining room. You will have understood it, several ills enter, and the foods presented do not respond to the claims of a semi-gastronomic – the term gastronomic (sic) is present on the Facebook page of the establishment – of a suitable bistro at the most. Good hearer!
The place, service, dishes, wines, the atmosphere is EXCELLENT! Only flat: the content of the menu remains a little limited to come further;
