The restaurant is popular with locals as well as visitors from Lisbon. Service is friendly and adequate. Don’t expect fine dining. Decoration and table decoration are unassuming and give the restaurant a local ambiance. You can have dinner inside or at the terrace. The terrace is pleasant as you have no cars passing in front. We came on the last Saturday of April and the place was packed with guests from Lisbon. The weekend had a Portuguese public holiday. People were waiting to get a table. As a starter we had crab-pâté with toasted bread accompanied with simple white tap-wine. As a main course we choose fried shrimps, fries and salad. The crab-pâté was tasty, the shrimps were nice and the fries OK. When you are looking for OK seafood dinner in a middle-of-the road Portuguese restaurant, Tasca do Maritimo is the place for you.
We went there a lot of times to have dinner, for us was very good, also the staff was very nice: we had ameijoas à bolo pato, choco frito, bifanas, salada de polvo
We have eaten lunch: casco sapateira , ameijoas and gambas aquilho. Excellent all. And the service was perfect,
Simple but great food, must try fresh ameijoas. Can be rather full during summer but amazing view.
Very nice spot to have a snack and enjoy the view.
