The food was delicious beyond words and the portions were large. The price? I treated a family of 7 adults and 2 children for only RM200. It is definitely worth it compared to hipster cafes with fake modern decor, using recycled furniture and charging over RM70 for a meal for two. The best part was the waiter service, which was top-notch. When asked if I wanted the spicy fried rice or not, the waiter would inquire about how spicy I wanted it and could make it according to my preferences. His approach reminded me of the show British's Best Restaurant, where customers are treated like royalty. The waiter was also very attentive to my mother, who was in a wheelchair. When my mother requested a bowl of water to wash her hands, he brought a special bowl before she started eating and returned with a fresh one after she finished, without being asked. He even helped my mother down the stairs at the restaurant entrance when we were heading back to the car. They were so caring. It truly was the best. You will realize how sincere and happy they are to work there. For that, I give this restaurant 5 stars. Highly recommended for its best service and superb food.
The food... excellent and in big portion....the staf .... very fast and friendly.....the ambient warm and inviting....the place you come with friends over coffee or tea accompanied by tasty cookies....the food that I luv the most is the mee goreng in the pan....and durian....
Outstanding spread of menu from east to west, offering not just local delicacies to its patron. Warm hospitality from the service staff and cozy ambience at the cafe are plus points which has made this place as one of my favourite place in Shah Alam to bring friends and families over lunch or dinner. Keep it up!
The food at Tanah Aina Cafe is excellent, the service is superb, the atmosphere is very nice, and the lighting is perfect for taking photos. The owners are extremely friendly. I will definitely be a regular at this restaurant and I am planning to take my family there for dinner soon. By the way, you should try their Afghan cookies - they are RM56 but absolutely worth it!
