Brick - Sharpes

3rd time at Brick, first time I wasn’t blown away by the food. Tomato bisque was fantastic soup. French Dip sandwich less so. Must have been the end of the roast or perhaps old. Beef was burnt and chewy, no pink or the velvety texture you usually get with good roast beef. I should have sent it back but was with a guest and didn’t want to divide attention. Service was seamless, quick and witty as is the usual here.

The food was just okay. Very bland. The restaurant didn’t feel welcoming. This isn’t a place I see myself visiting again.

The Brick is a long-standing tradition in Avondale! Our food was great and I like the fact that there is outdoor seating. Our server disappeared for a bit too long at times, but was otherwise ok. My biggest concern here has always been the noise level. It's simply too loud.

I have always loved this place!! The food is superb, the service is top tier and the atmosphere is perfect! Took my friend for the first time and he fell in love!! He didn't eat pineapple upside down cake except his mom's... until he tried theirs! The Brick Does Not disappoint!

I love the exposed brick that, I assume, gives the restaurant its name. We enjoyed brunch with Craig as our server delicious eggs Benedict.
