That was just the start of our issues. This manager just wandered around wearing a baseball cap and chatting on his phone, completely neglecting to check on the food. We arrived shortly after 1:00 PM, and after discovering that my chili spaghetti was unavailable, I looked around for other options. There were four pieces of fried chicken that sat out for over an hour without being refreshed. There was also supposed to be spaghetti, but instead, there was dried-out penne pasta, which no one found to be a suitable replacement. Additionally, there hasn’t been any cotton candy in ages. The container of banana pudding looked as if it had been tampered with by kids. All of this happened last Thursday at 1:00 PM. The food should have been fresh and hot, not stale and dry, but that’s not what we experienced. We’re reconsidering whether it’s worth the drive across town again, as there is a location in Aurora, but we've always preferred yours. I want to remind you that it’s chili season—not the time to discontinue it or the spaghetti. While you do have spaghetti sauce (which I’m not a fan of), it’s pointless without the actual spaghetti. You need to address these issues or risk losing more customers. Clearly, the young manager in charge doesn’t care. The service also deserves praise, receiving a score of 4. The atmosphere was inviting, contributing to a delightful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for the mashed potatoes, gravy, salad bar, and pot roast. Additionally, parking is convenient, with a free lot available.

The food was outstanding, with every dish earning a perfect score. I highly recommend trying the Meatloaf, Hush Puppies, and Onion Rings, all of which were delicious. The Pizza was also a standout, as well as the Turkey and Stuffing, which were comforting and flavorful. The Broccoli Beef and Rice was a delightful combination, and the Fried Chicken was cooked to perfection, paired wonderfully with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. Don’t miss out on the Cottage Cheese and Pears for a refreshing touch, and the Gravy was a perfect accompaniment to enhance the flavors of the meal. Additionally, the Salad Bar offered a great variety of fresh options. Overall, this restaurant provides a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend!
