Catfish King - Sherman

My wife and I call this place our go-to fast food spot. We love the Cajun Catfish and Cajun Beans, as the food is excellent and the service is quick. It's a great place for lunch. If you're looking for something different, they also offer a variety of options, including salads and chicken fried steak.

I hope this place will remain open forever! Simply love how covered, quiet and comfortable this place is! If you like catfish, this place is a must! Cajun Wels is my favorite! Canjun beans and rice too! Same workers and management for several years. Very friendly and friendly with excellent prices also! If you've never been before, you have to go!

Maybe princely, but not the best catfish. The chicken is really good, and they also have desserts. The atmosphere is unique, a 70:s kinda feel. Staff is helpful and the process are low for what you get.

Here's why I gave them a 4. Pros: food is amazing and is generally pretty consistent. Cons: staff is generally rude and/or incompetent. Although they take to go orders, they have no concept of what that means. They won't start making or bagging your food until you get there. On more than one occasion, I specified that I have a short Lunch break and need my to go orders made TO GO and ready for pickup when I arrived. They agree yet didn't even ring up my food until I got there. I waited 25 mins on my to go orders to be bagged while others who order in the restaurant after me got their food first. They run this place like a circus. Overall- if you have time and want good food... go here.

I have been going to different catfish kings since they opened in the early 1980s. I ordered the three-piece and the size of the fillets were extremely small. Luckily I only wanted a snack or I would have been hungry afterwards. I would say that the portion size is about half of the other catfish kings that I have visited. The taste of the catfish was fine. I asked the person working the register about the small size. She said that the restaurant was a franchise and that the sizes have been like that since she was hired 10 years ago.
