Subway - Sherman

This place is quite intriguing as it’s situated inside a petrol station, which means the service isn't necessarily the best. It's located right at a busy intersection that's always undergoing construction. However, the food makes it worth a visit. The meatball marinara never fails to impress!

I've been to Valero numerous times, and I usually find that when the subway isn't busy, the cashier helps manage the lines. However, today there was a line, so I approached one of the cashiers to ask if she could ring up my ice sandwich. The young lady asked her colleague if he could help me, but he said the register was closed, so I went back to wait in line. When I finally reached the front, I asked the regular cashier if the guy who had placed an order for a sandwich needed to come to a regular register to check out. He told me that no registers were open, which meant the guy had lied to me. This was not a good experience in terms of customer service.
