Hanul din Tulghes - Sibiu

The food was very great, the waiters were overwhelmed, maybe because the owner was there and they were paying more attention to him than to the other customers.

It was kind of hesitant to go to this restaurant after reading some of the reviews. After lunch, I think the place is fair, with good food amd service. Do not come with high expectations and you will feel comfortable here. The pork ribs were really... good and so was the lash soup. The “sarmal” were OK, but not the best. The staff was friendly, with good service. Overall happy with the lunch selection.

After couple of hour of visiting the Astra museum we choosed to have lunch here. The restaurant is part of the museum, as in the main building is a restaured old inn transformed in a modern style place. Their menu is large with plenty of...options, especially with romanian cuisine. The food was really good. We had two courses (soup and main course both of them really tasty. I expected big servings and received huge servings : . Both courses were huge but considering that they were awesome cooked there was no problem at all finishing them. The prices are average-high depending on what courses you choose. Eitherway, if you choose this place to eat after visiting the whole museum, you kind of earn a really good meal. The serving was fast despite the rush hour we arrived. Would and definetly will come again here.

30 min waiting for someone to see that we are sitting, another 20 min to come to clean the tables from previous customers, then small food portions, poor quality, and only 70% of the order was brought to the table, but the bill included everything, including what they forgot to bring! On top, many-many flees and wasps! To be avoided! Too bad for the nice location.

This place ia part of Astra Etnographic Museum from Sibiu. It's an excellent place to taste the romanian cuisine. A nice place for eventa also.
