These chefs and staf deserve a michelin star. Specially in a country like Cambodia and Siem Reap. Small note, if you're paying by cash bring newly printed usd bills as the country's monetary policies demand them to refuse older bills. Which might be awkward given the class of the restaurant.
An absolutely wonderful experience of a fine dining Khmer cuisine served in a French Haute Cuisine style. By far the best Khmer fine dining I ever had. Carefully selected local and seasonal ingredients, beautifully crafted with a lot of attention to details, from the complexity and symphony of the tastes, to the aesthetics of colours and presentations, to even the philosophy of the shapes on the plate and of the plate itself circles, squares, curves, celestial representations, there is so much to feast on by the eyes, the brain and the palate. Describing it as a Zen dinner is not exaggerating at all! Not forgetting the beautifully decorated ambient and the wonderful and well trained service provided by the crew. You even get to meet the Chef and bring home a copy of the menu of the evening and four deliciously made macarons as free gifts! Menu (which is a fixed tasting menu, but can be customized to dietary requirments changes every month Wine selection is also adequate I will certainly visit them again when I next visit Siem Reap
Honestly, I was in Michelin star restaurants throughout Europe and this place has nothing to envy... the February menu was from this world revisiting local ingredients and taste profile with a spin of modernity. A great point for the visual and aesthetic, the spirit blows!
Absolutely stunning experience! It was one of the best meals I had in my life, plus great atmosphere, service, everything. They adapt to my nutritional requirements and I was very impressed by their herbal infusion pairing for those who want alcohol-free version. It is led by women, and the chef came to greet me in the end.
What a distinctive and memorable fine ding experience! The set menu provided a wonderful journey through Khmer cuisine and I loved every course. I also really liked the herbal pairing a great alternative to a wine pairing if, for example, you have a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat the next morning. To sum it up: great food you won’t find anywhere else, attentive and friendly staff and with an all things considered reasonable price tag.
