The young caucasian woman on duty 9/11/20 gave me great customer service around 430p. The cookies were plentiful and fresh as well as the brownies. The icee machine was down but there is a gas station near by.
Delicious cakes and friendly staff! Thanks for supporting teachers!
I went in on Tuesday to order a cookie cake for my child's birthday on Friday- prepaid for pick up Friday at 4:30 pm. I arrived to the store at 5pm, and it was closed with a sign stating cash register down. No one called me, or I would have made arraignments to get there sooner. I show up to the store first thing this morning in hopes my cake is sitting there waiting. The doors are locked! After banging on the door, a worker came to the door. I explained I prepaid for a cookie cake that should have been ready yesterday so he lets me in. After looking around the store he could not find any made cookie cakes. He calls the GM of the store and asks if they baked the cake yesterday and got a NO! So they knew there were cake orders and did nothing. I would like to know where the customer service is? Why did someone not call me? They have my number on the receipt! No phone call the day of pick up! I would have understood and had time to go into town to the other Great Cookie store, but NO. Now I'm rushing around town to find a replacement... a generic Cookie Cake not decorated the way my child asked for his Birthday! I should be home celebrating a birthday but instead I'm trying to find a cake for my child!! Unacceptable and ridiculous, I even placed my order with the GM herself. Again a simple phone call could have saved my opinion about this store. I will not be back!!!
So I love going to the outlets in Simpsonville not only because of the many stores to shop in but also because of the sweet treat options. Well a few weeks ago I was shopping at the Outlet and my sweet tooth kicked in, we headed into Great American Cookies because we saw remembered they sold fro-yo as well. It was 8:40PM and we were able to get exactly what we wanted and the girl cashier was super nice. Now tonight I had a strong craving for the Watermelon fro-yo and since we know they don't close until 9PM we decided to head that way considering we had arrived later than that in the past. We got into the store at 8:35PM and we're standing around for a couple seconds until both of the women in there said that the machines were already closed down. I've worked in the service industry and i understand the frustration at the end of the night when customers come in and all you want to do is be done and leave for the night because it's been a long shift but at the end of the day it's our job and we are getting paid for that full time so might as well serve your customers with a smile on your face because think about all those moments when you're friends and you get a late night craving- you'd appreciate it if the other person at that establishment gave showed you good service and kindness. I felt the need to write this review because i drove 30 minutes because the craving was so huge and then to get there and it be closed 30 minutes before it's actually supposed to be-not okay.
Actually not all that great. Cheesecake Brownie was okay but it $2.99 pretty seriously over priced. Overall just average and smallish portions. Has yogurt with toppings as well.
