I think that was the most flavorful meal I have ever had. The duck rice was incredible and well-known for a reason. It was incredibly delicious and made my mouth water. The dish was packed with herbal flavors and everything was perfectly executed. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal.

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying the fish soup without rice. It was delicious.

I've eaten the veg beehoon here since I was a kid. This is about 25 years ago and the price has also increased from $2 to the current $3,50 per standard package. Their zai he (vegetarian geese) also differs from those commonly used. Maybe. I'm biased, but I think that used to be one of the best veg beehoon I had. Nowadays I do not find the silence as consistent as before, although it is usually the same uncle cooking everywhere. The earlier batches of beehoon cooked in the morning usually taste better. One thing that is worth practicing is that their fried pig kwa always taste fresh. Note that the fried tau kwa is not included in its standard beehoon set. You can also order tauhu goreng if you want something else. I'm not sure when they change personnel, but the morning beehoon team is completely different from the evening zichar team. Some of the zi char dishes I like here are fried hokkien mee, mock duck rice, mock fish cut bee soup (must milk if you are vegan) and Mock Curry chicken rice. Both in the morning and in the evening, teams do not use eggs as mentioned above, but I seriously doubt that no MSG is used for the Zichar. Updated from previous review on 2018-03-20
