Service was excellent, everyone was attentive; Vongole was good slightly pricey but I suppose that’s to be expected when eating at Clarke Quay
A visit to Clarke Quay in Singapore is a must-do experience! Don't miss the chance to soak in the atmosphere here. I was craving some pizza during my visit to Clarke Quay and decided to check out Motorino, a place I had heard a lot about. The restaurant was not too crowded, and I was able to watch as my Margarita Pizza was made right in front of me in their large clay oven. The pizza had a thick base and crust due to being cooked close to the fire. It was quite a generous portion for one person to finish. I also tried the Virgin Fruit Punch, a mix of orange and mango, which was quite syrupy.
I have been dining at Motorino since it opened two years ago, and the authentic wood-fired pizzas never fail to impress my family and friends. I feel the need to share some photos of my collection, as I believe they can only truly capture the deliciousness of their pizzas. While their prices may not be the cheapest, we find that the high quality of their food makes it worth the premium. Thanks to Motorino, my family now turns up their noses at inferior pizzas, as they have truly raised our standards for what constitutes a good pizza. I have heard from Francis and his team that their dough is made from specially imported flour from Italy, which explains why their pizzas are so exceptional compared to others we have tried in Singapore. Additionally, the attentive and prompt service at Motorino adds to the overall superb dining experience. I will definitely be returning for more!
I felt like I was back in Italy! Motorino's pizza is authentic Neapolitan pizza made to perfection. I enjoyed the excellent cremini mushrooms with pork sausage. Highly recommended for all pizza lovers!
