We ordered crab cakes for starters, and shared a 1.5kg Wagyu Tomahawk with creamed spinach and burnt tomatoes with baby squids as sides. We didn't enjoy the crab cakes as much as we felt the patties were too charred for our liking, and left a bitter aftertaste, however, the rest of the meal was fantastic. The tomahawk steak was juicy, flavourful and so tender. Every mouth was a delight and definitely the highlight of our meal and worth every cent! We loved how informative the staff were when explaining different parts of the tomahawk steak to us, so that we could appreciate the different textures. Special mention to the accompanying truffle sauce which was so delicious! The cheesy creamed spinach was done slightly differently from the ones we've eaten before the spinach was blended/chopped so it was more like a puree but tasted good nonetheless. The burnt tomatoes w baby squid was really tasty, especially the cheese! Overall a great place to try if you are looking for high quality steak!
Chef John killed it again. It was my first visit in a long time since knowing Chef John from Pasta J's Inception. The flavours of the food are rich and not overpowering providing compliments to the cut of the steak. Ambiance is relaxing and pet friendly as such i could treat my doggo to a few cuts of meat along the way. Service level is excellent with two very helpful staffs taking care of us and our pets needs! John, please bring back the aged strip bacon? I dearly missed it! Thanks again for making delicious food!!
We have been dining here since Pasta J days, and now decided to book the private room for an intimate gathering with friends. They were a joy to work with and they accommodated to many of our requests (even added a few fine touches to surprise us! They curated us a special menu and took great care of dietary needs of our guests. During the lunch, staff were extremely attentive to our needs. It was the first time here for many of our guests and all praised the quality of food; most were so well fed they kena food coma. Special mention of thanks to John the owner, Angela, Zen, Richard, and the kitchen staff for making this day ultra memorable Photo credits: YiWen
Excellent steak the best tomahawk i’ve had ever!!! left me wanting to lick the plate love that it’s pet friendly and you can sit indoors (especially appreciated in this heat). staff are good with animals, and prices are reasonable for the quality. would definitely come back again even if it weren’t pet friendly. but as a pawrent, this place gets a million thumbs up. can’t recommend it any more than to say please go … you won’t regret it! they gave a complimentary beef bowl as we ordered the tomahawk and they added broccoli and carrots to it. delectable AND healthy.
Came here for a birthday dinner and this place was chosen due to its pet friendliness. Most diners came with dogs. This was the first time we brought our puppy out to eat with us and we were quite apprehensive, he did bark a few times being excited seeing other dogs but luckily we didn’t get any “warning” to keep him under control. Food wise, we ordered, 1) crab cakes so so 2) burratini awesome! we really liked this appetizer 3) prawn risotto very good as well. 4) Angus ribeye this was a bit disappointing for its price tag 300g $115 lacks flavors and very ordinary. 5) Tiger prawns was recommended by waitress. Would have been a pretty nice dish if the prawns were fresher. 6) salmon carbonara the pasta was a little too al dente Overall, we still enjoyed the dinner and the experience of dining with pets around, but sadly the quality of food does not really justify the price tag.
