I cannot say enough great things about this place. we stumbled upon this place in Chinatown today and chose it for the ice cold A/C, it was 91 today with a heat index of 99! #priorities That said, my penchant for finding great food at times feels supernatural! #culinaryDIVININGrod This was truly the best Chinese food I’ve EVER had. THE setting right in the middle of Chinatown’s Smith St. means it gets lost in a sea of other choices. Still, why this place isn’t Zagat rated I’ll never know. The meat dumplings in spicy sauce are hand made by the owner Cora and blow #DinTaiFung away! And the black pepper crusted smoked duck breast IS as unique as it is unbelievable! (think duck pastrami) Finally, the dry roasted long beans with REAL Sichuan peppercorn is a delight of the senses. I’m a former chef, armchair restaurant critic, sand all-around world traveling epicurean; it TAKES a lot to impress me! I can’t reminder when I ate at the same restaurant two meals in a row, but #YuCunKitchen was SOO DELICIOUS I had to take my friendS back for dinner! Cora, I wish you ALL the best with your restaurant!
You don't need to pay to get the true singaporian chilli crab experience. Beside the crab all the other dishes were delicious. You should definitely try black pepper duck breast. Good service. Ps. Chinese beer ain't that bad either.
Loved the meat dumplings and spring rolls
