I made a quick stop at this neighborhood café for a takeaway coffee. The staff greeted me warmly, and I was informed that the business is still busy despite the virus concerns. My Cafe Latte was prepared quickly and was hot, strong, and full of flavor with a hint of bitterness – just the way I prefer it!
I went to this restaurant with a group of colleagues for a work lunch on a weekday. I ordered the goulash, which was wonderfully comforting with a generous portion of tender beef, flavorful paprika sauce, and fluffy dumplings. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was relaxed with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The prices were reasonable as well. Overall, the Austrian cuisine was delicious and homey.
I've always wanted to try this place ever since they opened, and they have been opened for many many years. Yet I have never managed to stop by when back in Brisbane. Didn't have time for a meal, just stopped by to pick up some baked goods, afternoon tea for a friendly house visit. Got a pack of the mixed cookies, already packaged up with ribbons, perfect for gifting. The cookies themselves were a bit dense for my liking, but was a hit with my friend's family. The main thing is the staff at the cafe were so friendly, definitely makes you want to return for a meal.
Best service I have ever had! Was greeted by waitress Libby, I think (sorry, terrible memory)! She took my order swiftly and I enjoyed a perfect flat white and danish. Will return soon!
