Be warned it is in a rough area of Sioux City but they are renovating the area and street was torn up for several blocks when we went. It was an adventure to get there to say the least. Once you get there, the building is a bit run down, but it is a true family restaurant. The family is very friendly and the food was awesome. The spicy wok noodles were very mild (I didn’t even start sweating) so ask for extra heat if you want spicy. Bottom line don’t worry about it being too spicy. My kid loved their fried rice. Don’t be scared off by the drive to get there, lol.
Probably some of the most authentic Thai food I have had since leaving Thailand. I live in Omaha and will make the 1.5 hour drive back. The service was excellent and courteous in the typical Thai style. The Pork Larb was perfect with the lime, rock sugar and fish sauce balance, the pad thai was spot on. I was hoping for more heat in the Tom Yum but I know that doesn't fit well with many American palates. I ordered a serving of Som Tum at a #4 heat level and it was HOT and excellent. This place is a hidden gem!
Bob 's review. A Diamond in the rough. Who ' d think, that on W. 7th St you would find good Thai food. The lemon grass chicken was excellent. I have eaten here twice and pleased with the food. When it is real busy you need to be patient with the service . A little less sophisticated but pleasant.<br/ <br/ <br/ 29 Apr, 2015 <br/ <br/ Bob 's review. An unexpected dining treat. Small on atmosphere, a little slow on service ; but the food is as good as or better than that in major metropolitan areas. Try it if you like Thai food.
Delicious. This place is a gem. I have enjoyed every meal I have had here. Absolutely delicious. The waitress is hard to understand, but I definitely would not forgo this restaurant because of that. The food out ways any other difficulties. Don't miss dessert!
Pumkin Curry. One of the most favor full Thai dishes I have had ever!
