The space obviously after so many years I expected it to be much better and not an empty frozen closed space. Sunday night and the restaurant has three tables and we have the fourth. We ordered 7 8 different dishes which were all very tasty with the highlight being the pork pan with plums which is one of the best dishes I have ever had, we all agreed on this, last dish to arrive at the table was the meat assortment which has a a large pork skewer a burger a sausage 2 pancetta different cuts and a chicken wing.. as soon as we see it we all understand that we won 't be able to eat this as it was so burnt that you couldn 't tell the difference in the meats, but living here years ago , we said let 's make the effort to try it and not turn her back since we didn 't want to offend. THEY WERE NOT EATING obviously and they left us no choice but to take it back, we tell the kind girl who served us and she passes it by, (without bringing us a new one) we ask after half an hour to bring us another because obviously we wanted to eat (That 's why we went) The second was wonderful, all the meats were cooked as they should be and juicy. The bill arrives at the table and we were charged for both, we ask them to clarify why we were charged for the first one since we returned it for their own fault, (without eating it obviously) after a few minutes with the waitress going back and forth and asking the owner what to do, K. instead of Professional of the Year comes with a style that says let me go and you will see what I will tell them (We laugh out loud). Professional of the year: Yes, what happened? Us: Sorry but you also charged us for the kameni you brought us and we didn 't eat it Professional of the year: Well, for me, she was not burnt Us: Yes, but for us who pay for it and didn 't eat it, it was burnt. A seasoned professional: Just because one piece of the souvlaki was a little burnt doesn 't mean it was all. Us: Everything was burnt and we tried to eat it, but you could also feel it in the taste, not only in the eye. Professional of the year: Well, for me she wasn 't burnt for that and I charged her, if she was burnt we wouldn 't have taken her out of the kitchen. Leaving, the long time professional mutters, well, if you don 't want to, don 't pay her (with a rude tone and hand on the waist) no respect. Obviously we paid because we, unlike the main professional of the year, have learned to respect the people around us. We will go again as good memories as we had from this shop 8 years ago???? DEFINITELY NOT, and why NOT, because fortunately this city has other restaurants with proper professionals/entrepreneurs who respect and do not have a blasé style. I 'm so sorry
Unacceptable behavior from the owner. We ordered a variety of meats and they all came overcooked. The one and only chicken wing he had was so black we didn't know what it was at first. The burger, the souvlaki were also burnt. We sent it back and they didn't bring us another one, we had to tell them. In the end when we asked for a bill they charged us for both! We asked very politely why they charged us for it since it was burnt and then the owner came with magic to tell us that for him it wasn't burnt! Yes, but it was for us who would eat it and pay for it. Normally these meats shouldn't even come out of the kitchen and when we told him, he chose to be completely unprofessional and rude rather than apologise. We paid normally since we are not uncivilized and left, but it is understood that we will not set foot again!
The warmest and most romantic corner in the city of Ierapetra, where everyone can enjoy delicious snacks and food. The environment is suitable for families but also for the youth. Several times a year there are also musical evenings. Kid-friendliness: Certainly the environment, in addition to adults and youth, can also be enjoyed by small children. Wheelchair accessibility: Just maybe a disabled person with a wheelchair can have access. Service: Dine in
Really authentic experience, good variety in local foods/dishes. Very helpful service taking time to explain contents of dishes, and actually suggested that we tried different courses to split, so we ended up having a minor buffet of different local dishes on the table, but still plenty of food to get full. Cosy atmosphere, and very acceptable prices. A hidden jewel right in the city centre highly recommendable
Perfekt place! Beautiful garden and delicious food!
