The maple nut was so hard and crumbly it's not worth eating. The other slice is not fresh but is edible. I found out there is a good reason they don't give samples. And if course by the time you try it, you have left and there is nothing you can do about it. I will never buy from them again. I say stick to the shops that are willing to offer you a sample.
Bad fudge, and bad ice cream. Also, people weren’t the friendliest in either of the stores I went to. They don’t allow samples because they know people would walk out. If you’re set on getting fudge during your trip go to Ketchicandies in Ketchikan.
The smell of Chocolate hits you as soon as you enter the door. Everything is made by hand at this location. If you get there at the right time you can even watch them make the fudge. Lots of flavors and a large selection of Chocolate products to choose from. Definitely worth the stop if you like chocolate.
Best fudge in Skagway for sure! The dark chocolate puffins and the Mendenhall mudd fudge are my absolute favorite! They ship year round. And if you need your huckleberry fix stop by for their huckleberry truffle and huckleberry ice cream.
This was a delightful stop on our walking tour in Skagway! Fresh candy and helpful associates!
