Mr Joe Chinese - Slidell

Mr. Joe's serves the BEST egg drop soup! While it seems that the sauces for various chicken dishes are quite similar, they still taste great. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy a meal at a reasonable price, and the service is always quick.

To get right to it, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Seriously, I really enjoy the food here, and it's quite affordable. The staff are friendly and always welcoming.

I really enjoyed it! The take-out food is excellent. Although some people compare it to Hot Wok, Mr. Joe's always seems to be busier, and there's a good reason for that. The food is amazing, and I wasn't let down at all. How did I not discover this little gem in Slidell sooner? I'm not a fan of Chinese buffets, but thankfully Mr. Joe's satisfies our cravings for Americanized Chinese cuisine.

One of the best Chinese establishments for the value. Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Slidell for the price. Many entree combination plates cost less than $10 and include fried rice and an egg roll. Staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Portions are large enough that it usually takes me two sittings to eat it all. I was also impressed that they use fairly sturdy plastic containers for the to-go orders instead of the typical boxes.

Amazed with this place, the food Quality, big portions and cheap, for sure comin back!!
