Molly Fultons - Sligo

I usually call for dinner there, food is fabulous and really well priced, the young barman needs to go away and do a course on how to get a personality, he really is the only fault I would have on this place, his attitude and personality really isn’t for the hospitality trade.

We booked for lunch here with the family. It's my mother in law's favourite. The food was lovely, the menu is made up of what I would describe as good hearty home cooked food with lots of choice. My son didn't want the mushrooms in his pasta but apparently that wasn't possible so I'm assuming a lot of the food is pre made rather than cooked fresh. I have to be honest and say the deserts outshone the main meal (in my opinion! The lemon meringue pie was just amazing! We will definitely be back, I don't think my mother in law would have it any other way!

Molly Fultons never fails to please. Excellent food and service as always. Had dinner here recently, Hong Kong chicken was fantastic, generous portions, roast beef best we have tasted in a long time.Bread and butter pudding for desert was superb. Service was super friendly and efficient, menu extensive and really good value for money. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

Been regular visitors to this establishment over the years but the last 2 visits have been disappointing I ordered battered cod and chips which I loved there but the cod, which always was a decent portion looked like it had been cut in half and served .. Such a small portion..I did mention it to the young lad that the portion was small but he seemed totally disinterested. The second time we went there my OH ordered the fish and again it was exactly the same...Are they cutting the fish in half before deep fat frying it? What a pity as it was an all time favourite spot to eat in but alas I wont be putting it on the list again unless absolutely necessary that I need to stop. Mollys was always rated the best place to eat in so I recommend ye rethink your menus and satisfy the customer.

We were passing through Sligo and decided to stop for some food. The food was lovely, big portions and staff were friendly. Service was quick and we would definitely return when we are in Sligo again.
