Callaway's Bistro - Smithfield

I've been visiting Callaway's for years, and I've never had a negative experience there. While some dishes are my favorites, all of them are quite delicious. The service is consistently fantastic, and they really make an effort to provide a personal touch. It's undoubtedly one of the best dinner spots in Cache Valley.

This is one of the best restaurants to visit for seafood or Italian cuisine. The service is consistently outstanding and friendly, with a very attentive staff.

My husband and I decided to try the Salmon Dinner, but when we brought it home, we were extremely disappointed. It was completely bland and incredibly dry, with no flavor at all. Since we hadn't eaten since breakfast, we did everything we could think of to enhance the dish, but it was still awful. We won't be coming back here again. Additionally, we ordered a lava cake that looked more like a doughnut. We spent $60, including a tip. With money being tight these days, you'd expect a restaurant to put in more effort to provide value for customers, but that clearly wasn't the case.

This was the first time we’ve ever eaten here and there was a literal mouse running around. Quite a few people saw it run across the floor. I told 2 waitresses that it was still under a table in the room and no one did anything or even apologized. They said they told the chef because he “deals with those things” which makes it seem like this is not the first time this has happened. So gross and scary.

I know the food here is delicious but they closed early on a Saturday night, the hostess turned us away at right at 9. There was also 2 couples in line behind us. I’m sure the owners would have been disappointed to hear this. I would suggest changing the hours on google to state when closing actually is
