J's Deli - Smithfield

I have heard many people talk excitedly about this restaurant, and I am joining that group. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a variety of sandwich descriptions and names on the wall, including options in smaller sizes. I chose the chicken parm sandwich, which was delicious. The staff at this place is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the overall experience even better. If you are looking for a fantastic sandwich, make sure to stop by here!

I was recommended to try this restaurant and didn't know what to expect. I went for dinner and found plenty of parking. It appeared to be a little gem of a place. Inside, I saw a variety of fresh deli meats. I was greeted by a friendly woman at the counter who explained the different options to me. The menu and various choices on the wall were impressive. I ordered the senior sandwich, which was delicious. The prices were reasonable. There are so many other items on the menu that I want to try. I will definitely be returning.

I had a generally positive experience at this restaurant. The staff members who prepared and served our food were patient with me as I took my time looking at their extensive menu displayed on their entire wall. I decided to order a Chicken Parmesan calzone and Mac and cheese. The calzone was incredibly flavorful, with large, tasty chunks of chicken inside. The Mac and cheese was also delicious, though it could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The prices were reasonable. The only downside was that there was no public restroom available.

The people are very nice and are there to work which you have to respect these days. The food is awesome, price is a bit high but you can honestly turn most sandwiches into 2 if you wanted to.

Our lunches were great, large portions, reasonably priced. Next time I?d take it to go though, there?s not much to look at except very, very dusty walls/vents/framed photos etc. The place needs a thorough cleaning for sure but the food itself was fineand there were lots of choices that sounded good.
