This place is my go to for Chinese food. They are reasonably priced and portion sizes are huge. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for Chinese food. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is always fantastic.
Really enjoy the Shanghai Noodles, General Tao Chicken (is my favorite) and the egg rolls. A perfect trio!
The spring rolls were great — piping hot, crispy, and obviously freshly made with nicely balanced flavour and texture. Almond chicken gai ding was an excellent choice, with lots of white meat chicken and tender-crisp vegetables in a light, flavourful sauce. The ginger beef had an excellent gingery sauce that nicely coated the crispy beef and julienne carrots, onions an peppers, but the beef had apparently spent a long time in the freezer and wasn't as tasty as it might have been — still good, but not great in co trash with the other dishes. The meal cost $35 for two, including Nova Scotia's hefty 15% harmonized sales tax.
Not my type of Chinese, I prefer less thick sauces and healthier food and this is more of your typical battered high fat Chinese. However if that is what you like you can't beat the prices here, great value, and fresh.
